For energetic and curious four and five-year-olds, this class lays the groundwork for future musical success. Level 4 broadens your child’s musical understanding by introducing them to music theory concepts like rhythm notation and musical symbols in a fun, accessible way.
We use the glockenspiel (a pre-keyboard instrument) to teach melody and rhythm, helping children develop the finger dexterity and listening skills needed for instruments like the piano or violin. It’s the ideal next step for any child in Penang showing an interest in learning an instrument.

What you will experience in class

Absolutely! No prior musical experience is needed. Kindermusik is designed for all children, regardless of their background. Our main goal is to foster a love of music and learning in a fun, non-pressured, and supportive environment.
How do I know which Kindermusik level is right for my child?
We place children into levels based on their age to ensure the activities are perfectly suited to their developmental stage. Our age guides are: Foundations (0-1), Level 2 (1-3), Level 3 (3-4), Level 4 (4-5), and Level 5 (5-7). If you’re unsure, just give us a call, and we’ll be happy to help you find the perfect fit!
