Born and bred in Penang, Jason graduated from Taipei National University of Arts where he majored in directing. During his early years in Taiwan, he was involved in performances as a director, playwright, stage manager, and actor. He was also part of a team, teaching drama to disadvantaged, aboriginal, and autistic children.

Upon his return to Penang in 2013, he became a full-time theatre practitioner and expanded his career in ‘Drama-in-Education’. Jason remains as an educator for young children in the Northern Malaysia region.

In 2017, he became part of the team of Plasticity Theatre Troupe where he continues to explore creativity within his line of work through the concept of reused and home-based materials.

中学时期热衷于相声与剧场表演， 2007 年前往台湾进修深研戏剧，期间曾担任各个演出的导演、 编剧、舞台监督与演员。教学启蒙为留台期间，担任艺术服务队的戏剧导师，服务对象为台湾弱 势儿童，原住民与自闭儿，从而埋下一颗教育的种子。

2013 年回国，开始与本地各剧团合作戏剧教学, 目前专注于北马区域儿童戏剧教育。
2017 年加入 Plasticity Theatre Troupe 专研当代影子戏，来为环境与社会发声，也积极参与制作 各类型表演艺术活动与社区活动，希望透过表演艺术与戏剧教育来建构/滋养更健康的社会。
